Our history



The Domaine takes its name from the two mills that stand proudly on the hillside, visible as soon as you approach. They represent both the history of Anjou and the strength of our terroir with its dominant color: slate

2023



Reuse!


The Domaine welcomes its new partners Samuel and Laurent. The logo and communications have been revamped. The bottles are now washable and therefore reusable, the cap has been abandoned, and the use of cardboard is limited: time for sobriety!

2021



Organic farming


First vintage in Organic Agriculture. The domaine aims to take sustainability a step further by vinifying its first organic wines.

2018



Market gardening


Potager des Garennes begins. Samuel starts market gardening on the estate.
Planting of an Agroforestry plot (vines and fruit trees in the same plot) with southern grape varieties in anticipation of global warming. Beginning of organic conversion.

2016



Back to nature


No more chemical weeding. Planting hedges to encourage biodiversity. Installation of shelters for natural predators of certain vine pests.
Reorganization of the harvest reception area and installation of an additional press.

2012



Diversification


End of building renovation with the mills and start of Chambres du Meunier activity with the inauguration of the reception room. We join the Ferme Dephy network to analyze and optimize phytosanitary practices.

2008



Consolidation


The arrival of our cellar master. Expansion of the estate with additional vineyards and a third building to store wine-making equipment.

1998



Expansion


Takeover of the family vineyard, doubling the surface area and expanding the vineyard team.
Construction of the second building, which will become a maturing facility for our bottles.

1989



Start


Daniel settled in 1989. Construction of the first winery building. Planting of the first vines. The first customers buy our wines. First employee arrived two years later.
